A simpler way to use your technical catalogue

Help customers find the right product before they contact your sales team.

Turn one part of your PDF catalogue into a searchable online tool. Buyers filter products by real specifications, shortlist exact items and send a clear enquiry — without turning your website into an online shop.

Start with 30–50 products alongside the website and PDF you already have.

Customer journey
One clear route from product specifications to the request your sales team receives.

The real bottleneck

Your catalogue contains the answer. Finding it is the hard part.

A buyer may know they need a stainless steel valve in DN25 and PN25 — but not know its product name or code.

In an 80-page PDF, they scroll through tables, compare similar products and try to understand which details matter. On a phone, that becomes even harder. Often the search ends with a vague email.

“We need a suitable valve. What can you offer?”
The same product range
The reference document stays available. The route to a suitable product becomes shorter.

Guided product search

Let buyers narrow the range by the details that decide whether a product fits.

We map one real product category and build the search around the specifications your customers and sales team already use.

Try the complete route below: filter, select, change quantities and review the resulting enquiry.

From choice to enquiry

By the time your sales team hears from the buyer, the request is already specific.

Buyers add products to an enquiry list rather than an ecommerce cart. The product code, chosen variant, specification and quantity stay attached to the request.

A project note adds the context. Instead of beginning with several emails to establish what the customer means, your team receives a clear starting point for the quotation.

Sales stays in control

But product selection does not have to become ecommerce.

There is no checkout, online payment or requirement to publish fixed prices.

The catalogue handles what your existing product information can answer. Your team still decides:

  • Whether the product is right for the application
  • Whether there is a better alternative
  • What is available, at what price and by when

Customers prepare the shortlist. Your team keeps the recommendation, price and timing.

A contained addition

And it does not require a new website.

The catalogue can live in a separate section or on a subdomain alongside the website and PDF you already have.

  1. 01

    Map one category

We review 30–50 products, their useful specifications and the source data available.

  2. 02

    Build and install the route

We design the filters, product pages and enquiry journey, then add them beside the current site.

  3. 03

    Agree delivery and updates

Start with structured email. We agree the update process before launch and review CRM options separately.

Contained installation
No CMS migration, company-wide redesign or ecommerce platform is required for the pilot.

A fixed first pilot

So you can prove the complete journey with one category first.

£8507–10 working days after the product data is agreed

The pilot covers 30–50 real products and is built to go live and stay in use. It lets both sides test the filters, product structure, enquiry and update process before committing to the complete range.

Timeline
7–10 working days after agreed data
Payment
50% to start, 50% before production launch
Revision
One agreed interface and content revision cycle

Included

  • 30–50 products in one category
  • Search and 4–6 relevant filters
  • Product listing and product pages
  • Enquiry list and structured email
  • Mobile layout
  • Section or subdomain installation

Not included

  • The complete product range
  • Large-scale data cleaning
  • Accounts or online payment
  • Unknown CRM integrations
  • Third-party licences
  • Ongoing support outside the agreed period

Practical details

Before the pilot starts, the boundaries are clear.

If the data, installation or integration requires more than the fixed scope, we say so before work begins.

Do we need to rebuild our current website?

No. The catalogue can be launched as a separate section or on a subdomain.

Do we need clean product data before starting?

We need names, product codes, useful specifications and images for the chosen category. If the source needs substantial cleaning, we identify that before the pilot starts.

Can it connect to our CRM?

Possibly, after we review the specific CRM and its integration options. The base pilot sends a structured enquiry by email.

Can customers still use the PDF?

Yes. The interactive catalogue sits alongside the PDF rather than replacing it.

Who uploads and updates the products?

The right update process depends on your current system and how often the range changes. We agree it before launch.

Can the entire project be handled by email?

Yes. A call is not required.

What ongoing costs should we expect?

The £850 pilot includes only the items listed above. If the chosen setup requires hosting, a third-party licence or ongoing support, we identify and agree that cost before work begins.

Is the pilot a temporary prototype?

No. It is a working first category that can be published and kept in use. If you expand later, the same product structure and customer journey become the starting point for the next categories.

What happens after the pilot?

You can keep the first category as it is, improve it, or add further categories as separately scoped stages. There is no requirement to commit to the full catalogue.

The next step

Send us your catalogue. We’ll map the first category.

Share the catalogue and your company website. We will review the range and identify:

  • whether it fits the pilot;
  • which category could come first;
  • which filters might be useful;
  • whether the source data needs additional work.

No call is required. We can continue the discussion by email.
